This privacy notice applies to personal information we collect across all business operations at Brooke Leadership ApS. The following business activities are covered by this notice:

  • Visitors to, and users of, our web site at brookeleadership.org;

  • People who correspond with us by email or letter;

  • People who use any of our coaching, and consultancy services including anyone registered on any of our training courses;

  • Our staff.

We take your privacy seriously. At Brooke Leadership ApS we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it;

  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, ICF credentialing requirements, to develop our products, or protect our rights;

  • We don’t store personal information in our systems, electronic or paper-based, unless required for the on-going operation of our business.

It is Brooke Solutions policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while conducting our business operations.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Brooke Leadership collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

When someone visits www.brookeleadership.org we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be open about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Brooke Leadership ApS uses cookies to help Brooke Leadership identify and track visitors, their usage of Brooke Leadership website, and their website access preferences. Third partis who also have links to cookies include Google Analytics ad Square Space.  Brooke Leadership visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Brooke Leadership website.

People Who Use Our Services

We hold details of the people who have requested our coaching, and consultancy services in order to work with them. We only use these details to provide the service the person has requested and for other closely related purposes. For example, we might use information to carry out a survey to find out if they are happy with the level of service they received.  

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Brooke Leadership discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees that (i) need to know that information to process it on Brooke Leadership behalf and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others

Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Brooke Leadership discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a court order or other governmental request, or when Brooke Leadership believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Brooke Leadership, third parties or the public at large.

Access To Personal Information

Brooke Leadership tries to be as open as it can be in terms of giving people access to their personal information. Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’ under the Data Protection Act 2018. If we do hold information about you, we will:

  • tell you why we are holding it;

  • tell you who it could be disclosed to; and

  • let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form.

To make a request to Brooke Leadership for any personal information we may hold you need to put the request and email it to the address provided below.

If you agree, we will try to deal with your request informally, for example by providing you with the specific information you need over the telephone.

If we do hold information about you, you can ask us to correct any mistakes by, once again, contacting us.

Business Transfers

If Brooke Leadership, or substantially all its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Brooke Leadership goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Brooke Leadership may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this notice.
