Mentor coaching or supervision?

Who you are is how you coach

Relationship is key to the coaching success. The skilled use of competencies and the robustness of ourselves as individual coaches support the creation of better relationships through the partnership we create.

Mentor coaching relates to strengthening our competencies.

Supervision attends to us and our own self care and welfare as coaches.

Both are in service of providing the highest and most ethical coaching to our clients and through them, their organisational contexts.

When coaches work with clear boundaries, contracting and endings, they are providing a strong and safe environment. Their role modelling of this supports the way coaching is seen as a professional and skilled function in the organisation. It promotes coaching as a key developmental approach to support the increase of key human capabilities organisations need today.
